City Praise Church is a multisite church, in other words it is one church in two locations, Shinjuku in Tokyo and Shimizu in Shizuoka!
Whether it is the lead pastor Johanna or the partnering missionaries the Humphreys we are blessed to be an international congregation with men and women of all ages gathering to worship the Lord.

Welcome to City Praise Church!
I am Pastor Kazuo.
I am Japanese, my wife holds both Finnish and Australian citizenship and our children have all three: Japan, Finland and Australia.
Because of this it is natural that we have become a Japanese based international church.
We lead the Shimizu site. Please come and enjoy the vista of the World Cultural Heritage site, Mt. Fuji, from the nearby Pine Grove at Miho.
Partnering missionaries
Greetings. We are Alex and Kathryn.
We are US Assemblies of God missionaries that have been sent to Japan. Since arriving in 2006 we have been working with City Praise Church.
We lead the Tokyo site.
